Pilates can be done by everyone! Pilates have benefits for everyone - whether you are male, have mobility issues, or have an injury. It is a truly amazing method of exercise. There is no perfection in Pilates - it’s all about progression and meeting you where your body is at that day.

Please wear form fitting clothes, as much as possible. Avoid clothing with zippers as the zippers may tear the vinyl on the equipment. You may be asked to take jewelry off for you lesson.
Socks are optional, but bare feet are preferred. If you choose to wear socks, ensure they are grippy socks.

Yes, Pilates is right for you! Pilates offers end range movements, using resistance from springs and working in all planes of motion, so overtime you will build mobility and flexibility. You will be amazed with how supple you will feel!

In your first lesson, you should feel your core muscles working - both abdominals and back! The lesson starts with Pre-Pilates, foundational work on the mat, and then moves to the Reformer with some time dedicated to other equipment at the end of the session.
